Hoppin' Hawks

The Hoppin’ Hawks are a precision jump rope team from Harford County, Maryland. This season is our 21st year as a team. Our team combine skill development with choreography to make jump rope fun and exciting. The Hoppin’ Hawks perform at area schools and community events to promote the healthy benefits of jumping rope as well as showcase the fun and exciting sport of jump rope. Past shows include the National Children’s Museum at National Harbor’s 5th annual Jump Off!, the US Naval Academy, and the Baltimore Blast Soccer. We also compete regionally and nationally and in the past have competed at the USA Jump Rope National Competition and the AAU Junior Olympics. We hope you enjoy our website and please feel free to visit our Facebook page for additional information and pictures.

We invite you to join our jump rope program which runs during the school year on Thursday nights at Prospect Mill Elementary School. Hundreds of children experience instructional, systematic jump rope the “Hoppin’ Hawks” way!!! Our program is open to any boy or girl, ages 5 years old and up, who want to learn to jump rope. Jumpers will learn single rope, partner, speed and power, long ropes, group routines, and double dutch. Jumpers are placed on ability level teams and advance to higher levels when ready. The instructional program is taught by the members of our Hoppin’ Hawks Flight Team.

We are proudly affiliated with the Churchville Rec Council.
